Coosa Valley Credit Union Associate VP of Marketing Stephanie Graves to speak at Shorter University April 17
Stephanie Graves, associate vice president for marketing at Coosa Valley Credit Union, will speak at Shorter University’s Robert H. Ledbetter College of Business, on Monday, April 17. The event will be held at 11 a.m. in the lobby of Shorter’s business school, 232 Shorter Ave., Rome.
Graves’ lecture is the final lecture in a four-part lecture series designed to allow attendees to hear personal success stories and receive advice from business professionals. The lecture is open to the public at no charge.
Dr. Heath Hooper, Dean of the Ledbetter College of Business, said, “We are excited to host this lectureship series through Shorter University’s Ledbetter College of Business and are especially pleased to have Mrs. Stephanie Graves as a featured speaker and to have her share her expertise in the field of Marketing. Our vision for the lecture series is that students will be able to hear from successful business leaders in their desired fields of study and that members of the Rome community will take advantage of the learning opportunity as well. I am personally very grateful to Mrs. Graves for her willingness to take part in the series.”
Mrs. Graves is associate vice president of marketing at Coosa Valley Credit Union. She has had over 15 years of experience within public relations and marketing. Prior positions that Mrs. Graves held were special event/marketing coordinator at UCP of Greater Birmingham and director of the Shorter Fund and special events and director of foundation relations at Shorter University.
At Coosa Valley Credit Union, Mrs. Graves oversees the marketing department and manages the credit union’s strategic approach in the areas of marketing communications, brand identity, public relations, business development, and product development. She assists the President and CEO in determining market trends and works to attract new members, and manages relationships with current members.
Mrs. Graves received her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism/Mass Communication from Samford University and her Master of Arts in Leadership from Shorter University.
