Anthony Chatmon is originally from Alexandria, AL. He moved to Rome in August 2002 to pursue his undergraduate degree at Shorter College. He graduated in 2005 with a degree in Business Administration. While pursuing his undergraduate degree he was involved in Shorter College Praise Team, Shorter Net, Intramurals, and Secret Sophomore Sabots. Anthony came back to Rome in September 2011 as an Admissions Counselor at Shorter University until moving over to the Student Affairs department in August 2014. He graduated with his Master in Business Administration degree from Shorter University in December 2014.
Anthony direct roles are to supervise the residence life staff, maintain the residence halls, help in fostering community on campus, and effectively partner with the department of student life. In his spare time Anthony enjoys fishing, horseback riding, attending sporting events, traveling and most of all spending time with family and friends.
