Shorter’s University Communications staff provides information to news organizations about the university and its constituents. Because Shorter is a private institution, we respect our students’ rights to privacy. We also understand the tight deadlines that media face and make an effort to respond to requests in a timely fashion.

Journalists wishing to visit campus or arrange interviews at Shorter for any non-athletic story must contact Public Relations at 706-291-5348 or publicrelations@shorter.edu before arriving on campus.
Sports Information
The Shorter University Sports Information Department welcomes your interest in Hawks and Lady Hawks athletics and will make every effort to facilitate your coverage of our programs. The sports information office maintains information on all current student-athletes and coaches, as well as historical information on previous athletes, teams and staff members.
