Miss. Lindsey McLendon is an Assistant Professor of Management at Shorter University. Miss McLendon was born and raised in Roopville, Georgia. She holds a Bachelor of Science in General Business from Shorter University. During her time at Shorter, she was involved in the sorority Zeta Tau Alpha serving one year as their president. She was a part of Sigma Beta Delta and was named a Sigma Beta Delta Fellowship recipient. Miss McLendon was awarded the Coca-Cola Achievement Award, Charles C. Thompson Award, and the William H. Warren III Award. She also worked as a student worker for the Admissions Office and served as a Student Ambassador.
Upon graduating, Miss. McLendon enrolled in an accelerated Masters program with Shorter University. While obtaining her MBA, she worked full-time in healthcare. Upon completing her Masters in Business Administration, she moved to Florida to complete an internship in merchandise with the Walt Disney World Company. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Business Administration in Human Resources with Liberty University.
Miss. McLendon is actively involved in advising the Breast Cancer Education and Awareness philanthropy efforts of the ladies of Zeta Tau Alpha at Shorter University. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family—especially her nephew Ethan. She enjoys spending Sundays attending Liberty Baptist Church in Bowden, GA with her family. Her hobbies include traveling, cooking, reading, or a good documentary or television show. Miss McLendon hopes that she can inspire students mentally and spiritually in their endeavors to make their dreams a reality.
