Connor Bean is from Stuart, FL. He attended undergraduate school at Reinhardt University, which he graduated from in 2020 with a Bachelor Degree in Sports Studies. He played on the Men’s Lacrosse team for Reinhardt. While playing for the Eagles, Bean’s accolades included being a 2x NAIA Men’s Lacrosse National Champion, AAC Lacrosse First Team All-Conference, AAC Lacrosse All-Academic Team, and NAIA Scholar-Athlete in Men’s Lacrosse. He then went on to pursue his Master Degree in Sports Administration at Boston College and graduated from BC in 2021.
Connor served as the Assistant Athletic Director for Game Operations at McNeese State University. While there he was in charge of all 13 Varsity events. He worked with different coaching staffs, visiting staff, other departments such as concession, security, etc. He ran lead on all activities involved with the 8+ fields/arenas, including set-up, in-game, and teardown operations during athletic events. As well as assisting with various athletic facilities and multiple other tasks. Connor also has worked at various other college athletic departments over the years such as UNC Charlotte, Boston College, America East Conference, & Reinhardt University.
Connor is married to Victoria from Canton, GA. He lists traveling, spending time with family/friends, watching sports, and doing anything outdoors. His favorite bible verse is Proverbs 16:3 “Commit your activities to the Lord, and your plans will be established”. He is extremely excited to be a part of the Shorter University family and looks forward to everything this calling has to offer!
