Dr. Bryan McDonald has served since 2006 in various positions throughout Missouri, Texas, and Louisiana as worship pastor, conductor, vocalist, and educator. Currently Dr. McDonald holds the position of Director of Choral Activities and Coordinator of Music and Worship Leadership in the Edith Lester Harbin Department of Music at Shorter University. Before coming to Shorter University, He served as adjunct music professor at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary teaching in the areas of worship, conducting, and voice. While at NOBTS, Dr. McDonald was the premier tenor soloist for the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary Chorus. His conducting experience includes his appointment as Associate Conductor of Southwestern Master Chorale, the sitting Chorus for the Fort Worth Symphony, for the 2012 and 2013 season. Dr. McDonald also held the position of Worship Pastor of Woodland Park Baptist Church in Hammond, Louisiana for seven years prior to coming to The Hill.
