My name is Dalton Bowman and I will be your Shorter University Admissions Counselor. I’m excited that you have chosen Shorter as a potential place for your college journey to begin! Here’s a little bit more about me:
I am originally from Rainsville, Alabama, but I have called Rome my home for the last five years. I graduated from Shorter in 2021 with a BS in Interdisciplinary Studies where I studied Biology, Chemistry, and Psychology. I taught High School chemistry for one year before returning to work for Shorter. While at Shorter I served on the orientation staff, as a student ambassador, as a member of HawkVision (sports media), and with multiple college ministries. While at Shorter I met some of my best friends, as well as my wife!
