Brandon Weise, a recent graduate of Shorter University, begins his full time technical theater career here at his alma mater. His fascination for technical productions began during his late grade school years when he served with the North Jacksonville Baptist Church Media Team until leaving for college. Coming to Shorter University to pursue his undergraduate degree, he played for the hawks on the lacrosse team, served on the chapel production team, and was a member and executive in other various school organizations. Brandon worked for the Shorter University Theater Department as a work study employee, where he was the master electrician, audio engineer, and a carpenter. While in his undergrad years he also worked with local production companies and churches. After he graduated with his Bachelors of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus in digital and theatrical productions, Brandon worked with the Des Moines Metro Opera as a staff electrician. Upon completion of his season with Des Moines Metro Opera, Brandon has returned to work as the Assistant Technical Director for the Shorter University Theater Department.
