Welcome to Shorter College! We are so glad you have chosen us for your college experience. We hope you will find your time at Shorter to be not only educational, but utlimately help you become the person God wants you to be.

Move-In Dates and Times

Welcome Week for new students will begin with check-in on Saturday, August 18 between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.  Returning students may check in on Wednesday, August 22 between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., or Saturday August 25 between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. (Since classes start on Thursday, there will not be staff on duty for check-in during the day.) 

You will need to follow the signs on campus and check in with the Residence Life Staff before going to your room.

Welcome Week Schedule

Welcome week is your week! It's a time to learn more about Shorter, its amenities, and all the other new students who have decided to make Shorter their home for the next four years. Since this is such an amazing week, we require that you attend all events.
