Welcome to Baptist Collegiate Ministries!
Here at Shorter College, Baptist Collegiate Ministries is seeking to “Be” the hands and feet of Christ. Whether it is on a mission trip, leading a small discipleship group, or helping out with Special Olympics in the Rome community, our purpose is to love God with all of our being and love our neighbor. The Shorter BCM seeks to motivate students, faculty, and staff to love not with words or tongue but with actions and in truth. (I John 3:18) Jesus’ life and ministry was focused on loving in action and truth. He laid down his life as we should lay down our lives for our brothers.
Be the hands and feet of Christ on one of our Fine Arts Teams!
Be the hands and feet of Christ as we meet the needs of international students!
Be the hands and feet of Christ and through one of our community ministry projects!
Be the hands and feet of Christ through one of our prayer walks on campus!
Be the hands and feet of Christ through summer missions!
Be the hands and feet of Christ and reach out to someone today who is struggling and hurting!
Come and join us here at Shorter if you are looking for a place to study and learn while giving yourself away. “And this is his command: to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us.” I John 3:23
