Kristen Wunderlich holds a B.A. degree in music and English from Luther College and M.M. and D.M.A. degrees in performance with a related field of vocal pedagogy from the University of North Texas. An enthusiastic advocate for vocal repertoire written by contemporary composers, her dissertation topic focused on the song cycle The Prairie Sings, written for her by American composer Philip Wharton. She gave the premiere performance of the cycle in October 2006. David Keith Jefcoat – David Keith Jefcoat, a native of Laurel, Mississippi, earned the Bachelor’s Degree in piano performance from Brenau College in 1978 and the Master of Music in piano performance from the University of Georgia in 1983.  His teachers have included Spanish pianist Carlos Kussrow-Corma, Austrian-American concert artist Walter Hautzig in New York, and Russian pianist Eugeny Rivkin at UGA. Priscilla Jefcoat – A native of Griffin, Georgia, Priscilla Jefcoat earned the BA in piano performance from Brenau College in Gainesville, Georgia, and the Master of Music and Doctor of Musical Arts degrees in piano performance from the University of Georgia.  Her teachers have included the late Carlos Kussrow-Corma and Walter Hautzig. Doctoral studies were done under concert artist and published author Dr. Richard Zimdars, chair of the Piano Department at UGA. Read more

Three experienced chamber musicians with a passion for collaboration form the Gloriosa Trio, a piano trio that is already creating buzz in its inaugural year. The trio’s carefully-crafted thematic programs delivered in exuberant performance appeal to diverse audiences around the country. Pianist Yoonie Han, violinist Jennifer Carsillo, and cellist Arnold Choi looked to the beauty of nature to inspire them with a name for their group–they found one in the Gloriosa, or “flame,” lily– a fitting symbol to describe these musicians’ fervent desire to share the music they love. She has appeared as soloist with the Wiener Symphoniker and the Tonkunstler Orchester in Vienna. Krassimira Jordan has been regularly invited in Japan, China, Korea, and Taiwan to conduct masterclasses at the major universities of Beijing, Shanghai, Seoul, Osaka, Tokyo and Taipei. Read more

In 2012, two sensationally gifted virtuosi – cellist Adrian Daurov and pianist Spencer Myer – established the DAUROV/MYER DUO to explore and perform three centuries of masterworks from the beloved repertoire for their respective instruments, both solo and in combination.

The Daurov/Myer Duo’s recent performances have included important debuts at Washington, DC’s The Embassy Series, University of Massachusetts Amherst, Nantucket Musical Arts Society, The Artist Series of Tallahassee and Brooklyn’s distinguished Bargemusic, a program highlighted by the world premieres of scores by Ricky Ian Gordon and Christopher Gunning. Pianist Kevin Ayesh has performed throughout the United States. Dr. Ayesh has been the head of the Music Department at Blue Ridge Community College in Flat Rock, North Carolina since 1992. As a North Carolina Visiting Artist, he appeared before thousands across that state between 1988 and 1992, performing as many as 75 recitals in a season. A native of Wichita, Kansas, Ayesh received his Bachelor of Music degree with highest honors from the University of Texas; his master’s and doctorate degrees are from the University of Maryland. His teachers were Elinor Aiken, William Race, and Nelita True. Read more

The performances of tenor Ron Brendel have been heralded as “effortlessly professional… strongly lyric…[and] memorable” in opera, oratorio and recital. As an opera singer, Brendel shines brightest in the Mozart tenor roles of Cosi fan tutte, Die Zauberflöte, and Der Shauspieldirektor. He is equally at home in the contemporary operas of Britten, most notably The Turn of the Screw and Owen Wingrave. A delightful evening of music featuring piano, drums, bass, and the saxophone stylings of Jack Murray.

Jack Murray is in much demand as a woodwind player, playing saxophone, clarinet, flute, and oboe in Broadway shows, symphony orchestras, jazz bands, rock bands and recording work.  Jack played for the Independence Ball for President George W. Bush’s Inauguration in Washington D.C. in 2005. He has toured with The Four Tops, The Temptations, and Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, and has worked with Michael Feinstein, Jonathan Tunick, Linda Eder, Natalie Cole, Ray Charles, Tony Bennett, Kenny Rogers, Manhattan Transfer, Slide Hampton, Jon Faddis, Patti Austin, Rosemary Clooney, Steve Allen, Bernadette Peters, Nancy Wilson, Johnny Mathis, Barry Manilow, Linda Ronstadt, Steve Lawrence and Eydie Gorme, John Pizzarelli, Gladys Knight, and Clark Terry. Jack was named “Most Outstanding Saxophone Performer” at the Mobile Jazz Festival in 1994.  Jack Murray is a Yamaha Artist.
