I am Josh Adams, and I’ve been at Shorter University since 2012, first as a student and now as an employee. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Christian Studies and Political Science with a Biblical Languages Minor in May 2016 and my Master of Business Administration degree at Shorter as well in December 2017. Now I work for the Office of Admissions as the Admissions Counselor for our South Georgia and Florida territory, essentially everywhere below Atlanta.
I am originally from Dade County, GA, right outside of Chattanooga, TN, but I first moved to Rome my Freshman year at Shorter. I currently reside here and have fallen in love with not only Shorter but with Rome as well. Shorter and Rome have become my home, and I want to make this “home” to as many prospective students as possible!
Outside of work, I’m an active alumnus of the Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity and our chapter on campus. I love to learn, so I love meeting new people and looking topics from different perspectives. I enjoy history, politics, and anything to do with outer space. I’m also an avid book-reader, movie-goer, and t.v.-show-watcher. I hope to be all-around and have something in common with everyone I speak to!
I want to convey my love for Shorter University and Rome to everyone I meet. Shorter is a great place to start and finish one’s college career. Not only is it a place to get a diploma, but Shorter is a wonderful place to strengthen your walk with Christ, grow as a student, friend, and adult, and meet many people.
