President's Letter

Dear Shorter University Students,

Welcome to Shorter University! On behalf of the Student Government Association, I would like to welcome you to the Hill! Whether you are just beginning your journey or returning for the last time, I wish you the best of luck this year! As a member of the student body, SGA is here to represent and serve you. You are invited to the Student Government Association meetings or to come to the office at anytime in Fitton Student Union to voice any concerns.

My hope for this year is that the Student Government Association becomes a more diverse and impactful force on our campus. As an organization, SGA has a substantial impact on campus policy and issues that concern our students. Also, I hope to make SGA more prominent on campus by providing more activities for the student body, making people more aware of SGA, and promoting an increased amount of school support for our athletic, performance, and other exhibition events.
