Mack Parnell

President - Mack Parnell

Mack Parnell is a senior from Conyers, Georgia, majoring in History and Political Science. Mack has been active in the Student Government Association since his sophomore year serving as a senator.
Mack is involved on campus by being a member of the History Club, the History Honor Society, the Homecoming Planning Committee, and the Presidential Athletic Advisory Committee.

Mack also serves the students by being a Resident Assistant and a Shorter Orientation Staff Leader. He attended the Catalyst Christian Leadership Conference in the fall of 2012. Mack enjoys cheering on the Hawks at any athletic event. Mack is honored and privileged to serve as the 2012-2013 SGA President.

   
J.R. Peeler

J.R. Peeler is a Junior from Darien, Georgia, majoring in Biology. J.R. has been active in the Student Government Association since his freshman year serving as a senator.

J.R. is involved on campus by being a member of the Shorter Relations Society and a Resident Assistant. J.R. enjoys walking around campus, watching movies, and spending time with his family and friends. J.R. is honored to serve as the 2012-2013 SGA Vice President.

   
Megan Tucker

Megan Tucker is a sophomore early childhood education major from Rome, GA.

On Campus, Megan has been involved in hill climbers, Northwest GA Crescent Leadership Alliance, Shorter Relations Society, and was a senator on campus. Megan enjoys dancing, swimming, and working with the preschool ministry at West Rome Baptist Church. Megan is honored to serve as the 2012-2013 SGA Secretary.


   
Nathan Crawford

Nathan Crawford is a senior from Calhoun, Georgia, majoring in Business Administration. Nathan has been active in the Student Government Association since his sophomore year serving as a senator.

Nathan is involved on campus by being the President of a Greek organization. Nathan enjoys playing tennis, and spending time with his friends. Nathan is honored to serve as the 2012-2013 SGA Treasurer.


   
Ryan Mayo

Ryan Mayo is a senior from Tucker, Georgia. She is majoring in General Studies and plans on getting her Masters in Special Education. Upon graduating, she plans on teaching English oversees. Ryan has been a part of the Shorter University community for four years and knows what types of events Shorter students would like to see on campus. She also attended the 2012 APCA Conference in New York City.

Ryan has been involved in various activities in her community as well as her Shorter community. She served as a senator in SGA, Volunteered for YFC, Student Marshall, and volunteered at her local church in Atlanta.  Ryan also enjoys working with young children at the Jewish community center where she works. In her spare time, Ryan uses her artistic abilities to create art pieces.  She hopes to direct that creativity and find new and awesome activities to bring on campus. Ryan believes that this year will be an amazing year for FAB and she is excited about this year’s events. Ryan is honored to serve as the 2012-2013 Fitton Activities Board Director.

   
Hannah Vineyard

Hannah Vineyard is a senior Communication Arts major from Fairburn, Georgia. While at Shorter she has been involved in Sub49, Shorter’s Radio station, Lambda Pi Eta, and Shorter Relation’s Society. Prior to serving as FAB c-director, Hannah severed as social chair in a Greek organization on campus. When Hannah is not planning events, you can find her watching her Braves or drinking a sweet tea at the closest Chick-fil-a. 

Hannah loves spending time planning events for her fellow students. She looks forward to this coming year and all the fun activities FAB has planned for this year.  Go Braves and Go Hawks!  Hannah is honored to serve as the 2012-2013 Fitton Activities Board Director.
