Welcome to Shorter University Hawk Orientation!

Hawk Orientation starts the Shorter University experience. At Hawk Orientation, new students learn about academic opportunities and rich traditions. Students also meet faculty, staff, and student leaders, who welcome them to The Hill.

Hawk Orientation includes freshmen and transfer sessions in the summer, as well as a session in January. Sessions offer information on academic requirements and expectations, campus resources, and involvement opportunities.

Residence halls open for all freshmen and transfer students - 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Residence halls open for all returning students - 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
