NEW STUDENT HOUSING
After you have been admitted to the college, the following steps must be taken to ensure on-campus housing:
- Pay $275 enrollment deposit and $200 damage deposit and mail to the Shorter College Office of Admissions
- Fill out housing questionnaire and mail to:

The deadline for housing applications and deposits is May 31st, 2011. An assignment cannot be made until both the form and deposit have been received. On-campus housing cannot be guaranteed after this deadline.
Priority is given on a first-come, first-served basis according to date of application and deposit. The first batch of assignments will be made by the end of May. Information regarding housing assignments will be available once an assignment has been made in the student’s university-issued Scholar account.
Keep in mind that all returning students receive priority housing. With rising enrollment in past years, there has been an increased demand for residence hall rooms and space is limited; therefore, get your information in early.
Welcome Week and Move-In Fall 2011
Freshman living on campus will check-in to their residence halls on Saturday, August 13th between 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. and will check in at Sheffield-Thompson.
