Emily Messer has a Bachelor of Science in English and a Master of Public Administration in Education from Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, Alabama.
Emily is involved in various professional organizations including the Association of Fraternity Advisors, the National Orientation Director's Association and the Georgia College Personnel Association.
Before serving as the Director of Student Life at Shorter University, she worked in the Office of Student Life at Jacksonville State University and completed a graduate internship at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. Emily currently resides in Rome with her husband, Chris
daughter, Madelyn,
and dog, Bentley. |

Whitney Mosley

Whitney Mosley received a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Mercer University in Macon, Georgia and a Master of Arts in Criminology from the University of Massachusetts in Lowell, Massachusetts. Whitney began her journey with Shorter University in 2006, as the Coordinator of Student Life.
Whitney works with both The Office of Student Activities and The Office of Residence Life. When she is not "On the Hill," you can find Whitney at home with her two wonderful puppies, Topi and Zoi. Welcome to the world of Student Life at Shorter University! |

Lacey Kinsey
Graduate Assistant
Lacey Kinsey has a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a concentration in Public Relations from Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, Alabama.
Throughout college, Lacey was involved in her sorority, Greek life, and served as a summer orientation leader for all incoming freshman. Lacey’s passion for student involvement was influenced by the wonderful experiences and growth that came from being involved at JSU.
Lacey currently serves as the graduate assistant in Student Life working with Greek organizations, summer orientation, and other student groups. She is currently working on her Master of Arts in Leadership degree at Shorter University. Lacey resides in her hometown of Rome and enjoys spending time with her family and loving boxer, Gunner. |
