    SHORTER APOLOGETICS CONFERENCE

What: The First Annual Shorter University Apologetics Conference

When: Saturday April 10, 2010 from 9 am to 4 pm

Where: Shorter College, Rome, GA

Why: The purpose of this conference is to provide students with the information they need to maintain their faith in Christ during their college years. Presently, atheism is the fastest growing worldview among young Americans. In fact, over 75% of those who are actively involved in our churches leave the faith when they go away to college. To help reverse this trend we have invited Dr. Frank Turek as our primary speaker. He is the author of the bestselling book, “I Don’t Have Enough Faith to be an Atheist,” as well as the president of Southern Evangelical Seminary. For more information about Dr. Turek see www.crossexamined.org .

How Much: The cost to attend the conference is $10. However, if you wish to eat lunch at Shorter University’s cafeteria—an all you can eat buffet offering hearty entrees, a full salad bar, delicious desserts, and as much pizza as you can eat—then choose the “conference + lunch” option which is an additional $6.

May God continue to bless all that you do for Him,

Aaron Werner
