We offer majors in Biology, Ecology and Field Biology (EFB), and Chemistry.  Our dedicated faculty is committed to providing you with the skills and opportunity to succeed in your chosen field of study.  We are extremely proud of our graduates.  Many continue their studies in medical school and other allied health programs, as well as M.S. and Ph.D. programs. OUR MISSION

The Department of Natural Sciences provides contemporary education within the context of the Christian liberal arts tradition. The departments seeks to equip students with knowledge and skills and to install in students an appreciation for the values of the natural sciences. Students completing degree programs in this department will be prepared for graduate or professional programs of study or employment in their designated field. Students will learn to understand and act on their community, scientific, and environmental responsibilities in local and global contexts.
