Chuck Wynn joined the faculty of Shorter University in August 2006. He received his B.A. in history and psychology and his M.A. in European history from the University of West Georgia, and received his Ph.D. in social studies education from Georgia State University.

Dr. Wynn teaches courses in modern world and European history, as well as American government. He also teaches the secondary social studies methods course and serves as History Education Program Coordinator. His research field is problem/decision-based learning in history and the social sciences. He has published a variety of articles on promoting cognitive growth through problem/decision-based learning among secondary (6-12) and college learners.
