Suggestions for Graduates

- All outstanding balances, library fees, fines, etc., must be paid in full in order to participate in the graduation ceremony.

- Each graduate must bring his or her own cap and gown to commencement.

Traditional seniors are contacted by the Office of Student Affairs in August and have a deadline of October 31 to pick up their caps and gowns from the Rome Campus bookstore.  After that date, traditional students are responsible for procuring their own cap and gown at their expense.  Please contact Jeanne McDade in the Office of Student Affairs for further information.

Professional Studies (adult) students should contact Beth Benton.

- Ladies should consider wearing flats or low heels because graduates will walk down stairs and hills. Ladies should also leave purses with family members or lock them in the vehicle trunks.
