SIFE team named "Rookie of the Year" - 04/09/09
Shorter College’s Students In Free Enterprise (SIFE) team was recently named “Rookie of the Year” during a regional competition held in Atlanta. “Rookie” honors are given to outstanding teams in their first years of SIFE membership in each regional competition. |

Marketing students visited Vivid Marketing in Atlanta, an experiential marketing firm that deals with face to face events for client's consumers such as NASCAR races, product roll-outs, concerts, etc. Their clients include Pepsi and ConAgra Foods. |

Marketing Students Prepare for the Easter Bunny's Arrival - 02/25/2008
As a project for a retailing course, Shorter College business majors volunteered their time to the Mount Berry Square Mall this spring. Students helped mall management set up the Easter bunny area. From assembling the lattice work to arranging flowers, students learned some of the behind-the-scenes details to retail displays. |

Shorter Business Student Gets Drafted into Major Leagues -

Playing baseball professionally is Cliff Flagello’s dream. The Shorter College senior took time off in the spring from college after being drafted by the Baltimore Orioles in the June 2007 Major League Baseball draft and wound up on the Bluefield Orioles, an Orioles’ minor league team. |

Shorter College Signs Two Agreements with International Affiliates - 09/28/2007
Shorter College’s Office of International Programs has signed agreements with Study Abroad Italy and the Institute for American Universities, providing expanded study abroad opportunities for Shorter students. The college holds similar agreements with more than 50 institutions on six continents. |
