Marketing Students Prepare for the Easter Bunny's Arrival - 02/25/2008

As a project for a retailing course, Shorter College business majors volunteered their time to the Mount Berry Square Mall this spring. Students helped mall management set up the Easter bunny area. From assembling the lattice work to arranging flowers, students learned some of the behind-the-scenes details to retail displays.

The Monopoly board game is sold in 103 countries, produced in 37 languages, and -- as illustrated last week in Shorter's School of Business Administration -- is a useful tool in reviewing accounting principles.

Shorter Business Student Gets Drafted into Major Leagues -

Playing baseball professionally is Cliff Flagello’s dream. The Shorter College senior took time off in the spring from college after being drafted by the Baltimore Orioles in the June 2007 Major League Baseball draft and wound up on the Bluefield Orioles, an Orioles’ minor league team.

Shorter College’s Office of International Programs has signed agreements with Study Abroad Italy and the Institute for American Universities, providing expanded study abroad opportunities for Shorter students. The college holds similar agreements with more than 50 institutions on six continents.
   
Livingston Library Shorter College Announces New Full-Time Faculty Members - 09/11/2007

Thirteen new faculty members joined Shorter College at the beginning of the 2007-2008 academic year.
