DEGREES

Computer Information Systems

The Computer Information Systems major requires a solid foundation grounded modern information system technologies and systems problem solving skill development. Courses in Web site development, database, security, systems analysis and design, as well as resource management are among those required for the CIS major. Other traditional courses, such as networking, operating systems, and programming are also form an integral part of the program.

Mr. Anthony J. Nichols joined Shorter in 2002, he was an international business executive and adjunct instructor of Information Systems at Kennesaw State University. He recently authored an appendix on cryptography for an upcoming textbook on network security.
