A CABARET FUNDRAISER Friday, October 24 at 6 pm Join the Theatre Department on Friday, October 24 at 6 pm at Cornerstone Church of Rome to help raise funds for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. St. Jude is a pediatric treatment and care facility for children with cancer and other serious diseases where all patients are accepted regardless of the family's ability to pay. During the first St. Jude fundraiser in 2006 , with efforts led by Mr. Richard Bristow, Shorter's Theatre Department raised over $1,700 for St. Jude. With support from the community, this number can be greatly exceeded this year! Cost of admission is $5 at the door and all proceeds will go to the hospital. Cornerstone Church of Rome is located at 324 Mathis Drive in Garden Lakes near Technology Parkway. Bring your own dinner and table decorations as there will be prizes awarded in the table decoration contest. Dinner begins at 6:30 pm with the entertainment starting at 7:30 pm. Tickets are $25 per person and are available through the Shorter College Box Office at 706-233-7288. Payment is accepted by credit card or check made payable to: Shorter College FOT Corporate Sponsorship Levels Platinum - $500 Silver - $250 All proceeds will benefit the Scholarship Fund for Shorter College Theatre Department students.

The Friends of Theatre cordially invite you to a second night of dining and theatre enjoyment to benefit the Shorter Theatre Department. Funds raised from this event will provide student scholarships, departmental awards, and program funding.
