Tiffany M. Scribner serves as the department’s Costume Shop Supervisor. In addition, she will be mentoring students through the various design processes. The position of scenic designer for Shorter College’s production of To Kill a Mockingbird this season will also be filled by her.

Tiffany received her Master of Fine Arts in Scenic Design from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dramatic Arts from Coastal Carolina University. Some of her design credits include The Lark, Six Degrees of Separation, and The Baker’s Wife. In addition she has worked as a scenic artist for The Utah Shakespearean Festival, The Clarence Brown Theatre, and The Ohio Light Opera. This summer she traveled to the 2007 Prague Quadrennial: 11th International Exhibition of Scenography and Theatre Architecture as a Design and Curation Assistant for the United States of America National Exhibition for Theater Design.

As a new member of Shorter College’s growing Department of Theatre, Tiffany looks forward to the coming year.
