Dr. Brian Nedvin, Assistant Professor of Voice, joined the music faculty in 2005. He received the Bachelor of Music degree from Bucknell University, the Master of Music degree from Eastman School of Music, and his doctorate at the University of North Texas.

He has appeared as a leading tenor at the New York City Opera, Washington Opera, Pittsburgh Opera, Edmonton Opera, Arizona Opera, Cincinnati Opera, Bonn Stadt Oper, and the Dortmund Oper.

He has been involved with four world premieres, including Hans Schaueble's Dorian Gray in which he sang the title role. Dr. Nedvin has sung numerous times as a soloist at Carnegie Hall with Opera Orchestra of New York and was a soloist with the American Symphony Orchestra in Avery Fisher Hall. A member of the Lyric Opera Center for American Artists at the Lyric Opera of Chicago for three years, he continues to be an active performer.

Dr. Nedvin teaches applied voice and diction at Shorter College and is proud to announce that a former student, Pamela Rodriguez-Arnaiz, has been nominated in the category of Best New Artist in the Latin Grammy Awards. Dr. Nedvin is a tenor.
