Benjamin Reigel received his MFA from The University of Delaware’s Professional Theatre Training Program, and his BA from The University of Minnesota.
Although new to full-time academia, Ben has worked extensively as an actor and fight choreographer at regional theatres throughout the country. Most recently he reprised the part of Nick in the Las Vegas production of Shear Madness, a part he played for almost two years in Chicago.
Other notable roles include Tybalt in Romeo and Juliet and Starvling in A Midsummer Night’s Dream at The Utah Shakespearean Festival, Lobby in The Visit, and Burgundy in King Lear at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Cuigy in Cyrano at Milwaukee Repertory Theatre, Arles/etc. in Greater Tuna for Repertory Theatre at Sea, Edgar in King Lear, Caliban in The Tempest, Orsino in Twelfth Night, and the title role in Richard III at The Maine Shakespeare Festival.
