March 17 - It may be Spring Break week at Shorter, but there’s plenty of activity still taking place inside the Fitton Student Union. The campus bookstore, located on the main level of FSU, is receiving a total transformation thanks to a three-week renovation project. The project is currently in its second week of renovation and the new-and-improved campus bookstore is scheduled to reopen in late March. The bookstore’s temporary home is located in the main floor conference room in FSU. Students can also purchase classroom supplies and apparel by visiting Shorter’s online bookstore at http://www.bkstr.com. Shorter’s campus bookstore is operated by Follett Corporation.
March 10 - The best and the brightest business, management and administration majors were inducted into the Sigma Beta Delta Honor Society on Sunday, March 7. Membership in the Sigma Beta Delta is the highest international honor a college or university can bestow on a student. To be eligible a student must rank in the upper 20 percent of the junior, senior, or master’s class as well as be invited by the faculty officers.
