October 14 - Move over Hawks. There’s a new football team in town. The intramural Track Squad has been crowned the 2009 flag football champions. Kudos to team captain, Nicholas Dodson, for leading the squad to victory. Come out and support Shorter College and the Track Squad as they play Georgia Highlands College on Oct. 28 for the hometown championship! The game starts at 6 p.m. at Georgia Highlands. Oh, and don’t forget that the varsity football team faces Kentucky Christian this Saturday (Oct. 17) for Homecoming. That game begins at 1:30 p.m. at Barron Stadium. October 7 - Shorter College Campus Minister David Roland is surrounded by the group of BCM volunteers that helped paint the inside of a flood-damaged home in Trion last Thursday. Volunteers are: (from left to right) Audrey Speight, Reagan O’Brien, Katie Clegg and Lauren Lee.
