Shorter University to present Winter Opera

January 10, 2013 - The Shorter Opera Theatre will present its Winter Opera on Friday and Saturday, Jan. 11 and 12, at 7:30 p.m. in the Callaway Theatre on Shorter University’s Rome campus.

The Winter Opera includes a fully produced collection of scenes from various operas, operettas, and musicals. The event will showcase some of the finest scenes from the stage, from the serious to the comical and everything in between. Scenes in foreign languages will be enhanced by the use of supertitles.

Tickets are required for the performance and can be purchased for $15 for general admission or $10 for senior adults and students. To purchase tickets, call the Shorter University Box Office at 706-233-7288.
