Shorter's "Friends of Theatre Cabaret" to be held Saturday, Jan. 29
January 27, 2011 - Shorter University’s “Friends of Theatre Cabaret” event will be held Saturday, Jan. 29, in Building H of Georgia Northwestern Technical College.
The evening’s performance will showcase the talent of Shorter University students and will feature current and classic Broadway show tunes. A group of Shorter seniors will debut a special showcase during the cabaret that will later be performed in New York City.
Doors open at 6 p.m., and performances begin at 7 p.m. The college is located at 1 Maurice Culberson Drive in Rome.

Those attending are reminded to bring food and items that can be used to decorate their table. Prizes will be awarded for the best decorations.
