Shorter College piano students win awards at state competition
May 3, 2010 - Two Shorter College students won awards at the Georgia Music Teachers Association Competition held at Kennesaw State University recently.
Thomas Williams, a senior piano performance major from Temple, won convention recitalist/outstanding performer. Zachary Smith, a senior music/liberal arts major from Aragon, received the award of excellence.
Both Williams and Smith are students of Shorter College music professor Jerico Vasquez.
