Shorter College Student Art Exhibit on display through April 9
March 31, 2010 - Artwork created by Shorter College art majors will be on display until April 9 inside the college’s Arnold Gallery.
Several types of artwork are on display including pottery, oil on canvas and pastels. According to Brian Taylor, Shorter’s Department of Art chair and associate professor of art, a curator from the High Museum of Art selected the pieces that are featured in the show. The gallery will be open from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. daily during the exhibition. There is no admission charge.
The exhibit includes the artwork of students James Davis, Samantha Floyd, Brittany Kossow, Montagious Brown, Bonnie Winstead, Loni Jones, Laura Watson, Angelica McClain, Jessica Turner, Marigrace Smith and Brayden Huskey.
