Shorter College hosting community-wide financial aid night
February 9 - The Shorter College Office of Financial Aid will offer free community-wide financial aid workshops during the month of February, March and April.
All parents and students are welcome - including high school seniors, students already enrolled in college including those attending Shorter and other colleges or universities. The sessions will take place on Feb. 18, March 30, and April 13 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. and will be held on the main campus of Shorter College in the Sheffield-Thompson computer lab located on the second floor. Financial aid advisors will be on-hand to help students and parents file 2010-2011 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) forms and offer financial aid advice.
Those wishing to attend should bring a completed 2009 income tax return for both the student and parent, along with an assigned FAFSA PIN. To reserve a seat for a session, contact financialaid@shorter.edu. Reservations are appreciated but not required.
