Shorter College to host “Visual Voices” exhibit
January 5, 2010 - The works of Margaret Ingram, Rome Area Council for the Arts 2008/2009 Artist of the Year, will be on display at Shorter College beginning Jan. 19 until Feb. 2.
Author of the children’s book, “Invasion of The Sparkspitter,” Ingram will have her exhibit titled “Visual Voices” showcased inside the college’s Arnold Art Gallery. An artist’s reception will be held on Jan. 19 at 4 p.m. in the gallery, which is located in the college’s Minor Fine Arts Building. The gallery will be open from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. daily during the exhibition. Ingram’s exhibit and reception is open to the public and free of charge.
