Professional Studies Program Inducts 22 Students Into Sigma Beta Delta Honor Society
April 16 - The Shorter College Professional Studies Program inducted 22 students into the Sigma Beta Delta Honor Society on April 15. The induction ceremony was part of the Professional Studies Program Honors Night and was held at the college’s North Atlanta Campus.
Inducted into Sigma Beta Deta were: Richard Anthony Alexander, Mary J. Allen-Brown, Peter Edward Kennington Ashley, Smith C. Ashley, Errin Chelena Baugh, Valarie Murrell Davenport, Ann Cecile Dixon, Jeffrey Allen Farrell, Debra Gail Griffin, Kim P. Hyde, Angela A. Jackson, Terri H. Kemp, Dennis Randall Knight, Cheryl H. Landrum, Laura Amanda Lee, Suzanne G. Nelms, Lourie Turner Pelham, Beverly Anderson Smith, Carmen Elena Solano, Rachel Francine Taylor, Doris J. Turner and Rhonda Samanta Willis.
Rhonda Radcliff, assistant professor of leadership for the college’s Professional Studies Program and Sigma Beta Delta chapter president, presided over the cord and pin induction. Sigma Beta Delta is a national honor society recognizing outstanding scholastic achievement in the areas of business, management, and administration. Membership is by invitation only. Students must be at least half-way through their respective programs and be in the upper 10 percent of their class.
Geared towards working professionals in Greater Rome and the Atlanta area, the college’s Professional Studies Program offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in many courses of study. |
