April 13 - Shorter College’s award-winning theatre department will present “The Picture of Dorian Gray” this week inside the college’s Callaway Theatre.

Adapted by John Osborne from the novel by Oscar Wilde, “The Picture of Dorian Gray” will open Wednesday, April 15 at 7:30 p.m. Other performance times are scheduled for April 16 through 18 at 7:30 p.m. and on Sunday, April 19 at 2 p.m.

The performance is a brilliant dramatization of Wilde’s 1891 classic literary work about a man who retains his youth while the decay of advancing years and moral corruption appears on a portrait painted by one of his companions.
