Tarrant to Serve as Shorter College Registrar
Melissa Tarrant has been named registrar at Shorter College. In this role, she will oversee the responsibilities of coordinating course schedules and registration, evaluating and issuing transcripts and maintaining academic records for graduation.
“Melissa has worked closely with the registrar’s office for some time, and she is a great fit to continue in that role,” said Dr. Craig Shull, provost.
Tarrant has been a member of Shorter’s staff since 2005, serving as director of the Center for Learning and Academic Success at Shorter (CLASS) and as director of academic advising. In these roles, she managed tutoring and academic support services for the college and advised undeclared majors. |
