Justin Mitchell has been named financial aid systems assistant at Shorter College. In this role, he will be responsible for the electronic aspects of financial aid processing.

Mitchell previously worked at Reinhardt College in Waleska, Ga., for five years.

He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Reinhardt College. Mitchell serves as an assistant scoutmaster with Boy Scouts of America Troop 465 in Hickory Flat, Ga.

Mitchell and his wife, Erika, reside in Rydal with their daughter, Madeline.
