Shorter College Hosts Nov. 7 Global Perspectives Forum Dr. Dlynn Armstrong-Williams will be the guest speaker at Shorter College’s Global Perspectives Forum on Wednesday, Nov. 7, at 3 p.m. in the Eubanks Room. The lecture is open to the public at no charge. Her discussion is titled “The impact of globalization: The challenges within us.” Dr. Armstrong-Williams is the director of the Center for Global Engagement and the coordinator of the international affairs program at North Georgia College and State University. She also serves on the governing board of the Georgia Political Science Association, and she is the chair of the study abroad committee for the University System of Georgia. Dr. Armstrong-Williams holds a doctoral degree in political science from Miami University. She completed extensive graduate work on international security and East Asia. She also studied as a Fulbright-Hayes scholar in Tunisia and a Korean Academy scholar in Seoul.
