Parents to Volunteer at Shorter College

Parents of current Shorter College students will volunteer their time and skill on campus for the third annual Parents Work Day on Saturday, June 23, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Organized by Shorter’s Parents Council, the day will involve volunteers repainting the interior rooms of the Townes apartment building. Lunch will be provided to all participants.

“We are always impressed by these parents’ willingness to make a difference here on campus,” said Dick Taylor, director of facilities management. “We appreciate their efforts and enjoy the time working together.”
