Tara M. Jones has been named director of financial aid at Shorter College.

In this role, she will be responsible for the overall administration of federal, state and institutional financial aid for both the traditional and Professional Studies programs.

Jones previously served for seven years as director of financial aid at Kentucky Christian University in Grayson, Ky. She also served as director of financial aid (two years) and director of student services and business affairs (three years) at Davenport University in South Bend, Ind.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in psychology from Kentucky Christian University and a Master of Science in non-profit administration from the University of Notre Dame.
