Faithful Men perform at Shorter College
Faithful Men, a male musical ensemble from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (SEBTS), will present a concert at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 1, in Shorter College’s Brookes Chapel. The event is sponsored by Shorter’s School of the Arts. The public is invited to attend at no charge.
Established in 1995 by SEBTS professor of church music Dr. John L. Davis, Faithful Men is composed of 10 auditioned members of the school’s male chorale. The group has sung at three national Southern Baptist Convention meetings as well as at churches, colleges and universities across the country. They have also recorded four CDs.
Jamie Clements, a 2005 Shorter graduate, is a member of Faithful Men. Their concert at Shorter is part of their spring break tour. In addition, the group will answer questions about seminary.
