Shorter College provides online planned giving resources          

In an effort to provide additional financial resources to alumni and friends of Shorter College, the Office of Institutional Advancement has launched a planned giving Web site. Often referred to as Gift Legacy, the online resources now provide access to learn more about giving opportunities and financial decisions that benefit both the donor and the college.         

While planned gifts to Shorter College have always been available, considering these options is far easier online. Individuals can run calculations and explore giving options before even approaching a Shorter representative. The planned giving content is continuously updated so that the information provides a great deal of financial advice that allows visitors to make informed financial decisions.       

"We are incredibly excited about the planned giving Web site for Shorter College,” said Vice President for Institutional Advancement Brooks McCommons. “I believe that if more people realized the benefits they’d receive from a planned gift, then more people would participate. Our job is to provide the resources that communicate the options.”
