DeWitt receives first year assessment fellowship   

Shorter College’s Patricia DeWitt was one of five national fellowship recipients to attend the 2006 Summer Institute on First-Year Assessment, held June 25-27 in Asheville, N.C. The institute was sponsored by The Association for Institutional Research and The National Resource Center for the First-Year Experience and Students in Transition. For the sixth year, the institute engaged participants in understanding the role of assessment for improving the first year of a college experience.

DeWitt serves as assistant vice president for planning and institutional effectiveness at Shorter College.
