Dr. Barbara Finn has been named dean of Shorter’s School of Business Management in the Professional Studies Program.

Dr. Finn has been a full-time member of Shorter’s Professional Studies faculty since 2002, serving as associate professor of management and chair of undergraduate business programs in the School of Business Management. She also chaired the college-wide Curriculum Revision Task Force.

A former business executive, Dr. Finn has extensive industry experience in management, marketing, human resources and leadership development.

Dr. Finn earned a bachelor’s degree in education from the University of Georgia, a Master of Business Administration in marketing from Valdosta State University and a doctorate in business from Capella University. She completed Harvard University’s Advanced Management Program.
