HISTORY OF OUR PROFESSIONAL PROGRAMS

What is now called Shorter University College of Adult & Professional Programs taught its first courses in October, 1992. Beginning initially in the Marietta area of Metropolitan Atlanta, the College of Adult & Professional Studies expanded to include campus locations in Lawrenceville and Riverdale, Georgia, as well as on the main campus in Rome.

Offering undergraduate and graduate courses in business from 1992 to 2003 as the School of Professional Programs, the program was extended to other schools of Shorter University in December of 2003. Now renamed, the College of Adult & Professional Programs at Shorter University offers both undergraduate and graduate degrees in accelerated adult programs combining a quality education with convenience and affordabiltiy.
